  I/We authorise Shiptech Petroleum SA (PTY) Limited to contact any person and /or investigate any information referred to, to determine if the account should be opened.

  The applicant hereby authorises Shiptech Petroleum SA (PTY) Limited to furnish credit information concerning the applicant to any credit bureau, or to any credit provider seeking trade references concerning the applicant. Shiptech Petroleum SA (PTY) Limited, may also request information concerning the applicant from any credit bureau or any credit provider in order to conduct a credit assessment or affordabitilty assessment in respect of the applicant and / or to trace the applicant.

  I/We hereby certify and guarantee that:

  • The above mentioned information is true and correct;
  • Invoices raised against this credit account during any particular month shall be paid by the account holder on or before the 30th day of the month following that in which the invoices were raised;
  • I/We are duly authorised to sign this application for a credit facility;
  • I/We, the undersigned applicant, agree that all of our dealings with Shiptech Petroleum SA (PTY) Limited, shall be governed by and subject to, the Standard Trading Conditions of Shiptech Petroleum SA (PTY) Limited even in the event of credit facilities not being granted, subject to clause 20 below.
  • I/We the undersigned confirm that our signature to this document constitutes an acceptance of Shiptech Petroleum (PTY) Limited goods and services offering subject to its STC's, agreed rates/tariffs and provisions of any laws governing such relationship.
  • DECLARATION IN DETERMINING THRESHOLDS IN TERMS OF THE NATIONAL CREDIT ACT NO.34 OF 2005 AND THE CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT NO.68 OF 2008
